Jake was heading back to the dressing room, after a particularly loud and boisterous concert. Nina had slipped out "Just to get a drink," and Arn had headed for the bus, muttering something about Lee Harvey Oswald clones. That left Jake on his lonesome, and... he didn't particularly mind. He'd been on his own most of his life, and he was used to the quiet. Almost like an old friend, really.

He was a touch nervous being back in Gotham. He didn't want to get into any more scrapes than he had to, and Gotham had not particularly been good to him, in that department. Still. He had Nina and Arn with him this time. That had to count for something. Still, he couldn't help but lock the door behind him, as he trudged into the dressing room, looking for something resembling a chair to flop down in. He was dragging his guitar behind him, not minding the twangs and plunks of protest it sounded. He couldn't play anyway, what did it matter if it was out of tune, or broken?

Aww poor doggie was getting upset. Gemini's grin was cruel, relishing his discomfort, although she turned it into a sad pout as she glanced back at Jake.

"Oh if you think that then I'd best tell her right away." She waltzed towards the door, confident that he would either try to stop her or surrender.

Jake moved across the room, very confused, and rather upset. He was surprisingly fast, for such a lanky guy, perhaps due in part to some of his wolf features shifting back into place, unconsciously. He was attempting to block the door, relatively certain he wouldn't be able to hold on to her. "I-- Please don't! I like my neck the way it be, thank you!" Nina would likely take a chunk out of him, just out of annoyance.

"I don't know what I did-- can we talk about this?!" How had things suddenly gotten so crazy? The change in the bones in his face likely made him look a bit fierce, but he was more nervous than anything right now.

Oh look she was right! Gemini watched Jake slip in front of her, impressed by his speed but not my the change in facial features as she looked up at him without a trace of fear in her expression.

"Shh baby," Gemini laughed teasingly, invading his personal space one more. She didn't need to in order to get past him, but it was fun. "What your friends don't need to know won't hurt them. I don't like people blabbing about me as little as you'd like me telling the R-Complex where you are. You don't say anything and we're good, this conversation didn't take place, simple as that."

Jake was so confused. This woman might be insane. Beautiful, sure, and a very neat set of powers-- but insane. Maybe that came with the territory of being an 'assassin'. "I-- won't say nothin', not if you don't want it. All you had t'do was ask, there- ain't no call for-- none'a that."

He wasn't actively trying to be scary. The shift in form was more instinctual, than anything else.

"That's all I wanted furry." She laughed lightly, leaning in and pressing a kiss to one furry cheek. It wasn't all she wanted, but it was enough for now.

Her body was already slip sliding away, stretching and flattening to squeeze into a nearby air vent in little more than a blink of an eye, a "see you soon," echoing in the air behind her as she vanished.
